Quotes- Friendship

Are not all lifelong friendships born at the moment when at last you meet another human being who has some inkling (but faint and uncertain even in the best) of that something which you were born desiring, and which, beneath the flux of other desires and in all the momentary silences between the louder passions, night and day, year by year, from childhood to old age, you are looking for, watching for, listening for?
-C.S. Lewis

True wealth is built from friends and family, from experiences and relationships — it is derived from a life filled with meaning.
-J.D., Get Rich Slowly

Friendship is a single soul dwelling in two bodies.
-Aristotle

I value the friend who for me finds time on his calendar, but I cherish the friend who for me does not consult his calendar.
-Robert Brault

I had an excellent weekend and it was the result of great times with great friends. If you don't currently have great friends in your life make that a priority; surrounding yourself with great people is probably the easiest and most well trodden road to happiness, if not the only one. To share joy and success with others is one of life's greatest gifts.

  1. I have a couple of great friend that i have some how been able to keep throughout most my life. Though, I don't believe finding great friends is really that easy. I have had the worst time with that my whole life. and I don't know if it is my fault or the fault of others but either way holding onto friends hasn't been one of my strong suits. I do agree it being the road to happiness though. By surrounding yourself with people that love you and vice versa that is definitely the road to happiness.

  2. I agree that it is not easy. I think you have a lot of great friends. At least I hope so since I consider you one of my great friends and I'm sure many of the CLC do. You are one of my favorite people and my life would be less awesome if I hadn't met you.
